Seasonal
Patients can only receive the flu vaccine as part of the NHS service if they meet any of the following criteria
- Over 65
- A carer
- Pregnant
Or have the following illnesses
- Diabetes
- Heart Disease
- Stroke
- Active liver disease
- COPD
- Asthma – if you regularly use inhaled steroid (brown or maroon) inhalers
- Immunosuppressed by medication or disease
If your child is due to have their flu vaccination at school and they miss this we will only be able to see them in our flu clinics if they fit the criteria above.
If you have had a letter from us and you do not wish to have the flu vaccination this year then please inform our receptionist and they will add this to your record.
If you do not fit any of the criteria given above and you wish to have a flu vaccination appointments are available to book but please be aware these will be on or after the 1st November.
A flu vaccination is £10 and this will need to be taken at the time of booking the appointment.
This is none refundable if you fail to attend this appointment and a further £10 charge will incur if you wish to rebook.
